Beyonce Knowles is the daughter of Matthew Knowles, a former singer and Tina Knowles (n’ee Kelly). Beyonce was born in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. She has two sisters: Solange and Kelly Rowland.

Beyonce was discovered by Alonzo Williams at an amusement park when she was only 5 years old. Williams invited her to audition for him at his studio where he told her that she could sing very well for someone so young! Beyonce’s mother sent her off to New York City when she was 10 years old so that she could take voice lessons with Michael Jackson’s former vocal coach Ron Tomlin; however this did not work out because Tomlin said there wasn’t enough time left before the auditions started at age 12 so they would have had to start over again from scratch which would have been too much pressure on little Beymez (how cute!). Instead they decided it might be better if they just wait until junior high graduation day then try again after that…

She has two sisters, Solange and Kelly Rowland (member of Destiny’s Child) who is also a singer.

Kelly Rowland was a member of Destiny’s Child. Beyonce’s sister Solange is also a singer.

She started her singing career in 1990s with girl group Destiny’s Child which reformed in 2006.

Beyonce is the only remaining original member who has never left or been kicked out of Destiny’s Child; however, some fans believe that this could change with their next album release as she does not appear on any tracks from it so far (2019).

Her solo career began in 2003 with debut album Dangerously In Love which sold over twelve million copies worldwide.
