U2, one of the most influential and successful rock bands of all time, has been captivating audiences worldwide with their powerful music and unforgettable live performances since the 1980s. With chart-topping hits like “With or Without You,” “Beautiful Day,” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” U2’s concerts are a must-see for fans and music lovers alike. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of securing tickets for U2’s 2023 concert tour, finding the best seats, and making the most of your live concert experience.

From 2020 to the present, U2 has been active with their “Songs of Surrender” project and their concert residency at Sphere.

During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, U2 worked on “Songs of Surrender,” which involved re-recording and reinterpreting 40 of their old songs. The project, spearheaded by The Edge and Bono, featured stripped-down acoustic arrangements, different keys, tempos, and rewritten lyrics. It was conceived as a companion to Bono’s memoir, “Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story.” Bono also embarked on a book tour called “Stories of Surrender,” where he performed stripped-down versions of U2 songs. The album released in March 2023, coinciding with a documentary film on Disney+ and Bono’s residency at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

From September 2023 to March 2024, U2 is holding a 40-date concert residency titled “U2: UV Achtung Baby” at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The residency, announced during a Super Bowl LVII advertisement, focuses on their 1991 album “Achtung Baby” and utilizes the venue’s immersive video and sound technologies. Unfortunately, drummer Larry Mullen won’t participate due to planned surgery, marking the first time since 1978 that U2 performs without him. Bram van den Berg from Krezip fills in as the drummer. Additionally, the group released the single “Atomic City” to coincide with the residency’s start.
